TIER 1 PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE

FAQ

Most personal trainers charge less. Why are your rates above the norm?

It’s true that most personal trainers offer cheaper rates. But that’s not our selling point. We know our prices aren’t cheap. But they definitely are underpriced based on the unparalleled results we provide. Most conventional gym-based personal trainers offer the same regurgitated, one-size-fits-all corporate programs that produce mediocre results at best. The professionals at Tier 1 Performance Institute are seasoned Master Trainers and Peak-Performance Coaches trained in a variety of related skill sets ideally suited for optimum results. As an example, Creed’s experience exceeds two decades. The clients who reach out to us are very serious about their transformation. And we deliver like no other.

Do you guarantee results?

Yes. We absolutely do guarantee results. However, this statement must be clarified. Do we guarantee that you’ll put on a specific amount of muscle mass or lose your target fat-loss weight? No. Do we guarantee that you will achieve any of your performance or transformation goals? No. There are numerous factors that can positively or negatively impact results, such as experience, motivation, diet, genetics, age, sleep, stress, and circumstance, just to name a few. These are not outcomes we can control. What we do guarantee is this: Provided you put in the time (at least 12 weeks), apply the work prescribed by our training, and possess the self-motivation and self-discipline to remain consistent, we guarantee you WILL make progress, you WILL improve your knowledge, and you WILL become stronger. No exceptions.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds for training or coaching sessions. Considerable time and resources factor into the planning and creation of our programs, which are personalized for each client. However, for documented irregular circumstances (military deployments, hospitalization, veterinary emergencies, death in the family, etc.), a pause in operations and payments (if on a monthly payment plan) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In the rare event that a trainer or coach can no longer conduct personal training or provide consulting services, another trainer or coach will be provided.

What makes your services different than the coaching provided by other personal trainers?

We provide more than just personal training. We offer executive consulting services that implement powerful strategies and techniques from various disciplines, such as exercise science, nutrition science, performance psychology, environmental wellness, and regenerative medicine, that are all integrated as a full-spectrum approach for MAX performance and ULTIMATE transformation success. Of course, for those whose goals are strictly focused on the physical, we offer the best personal training programs available.

What’s the difference between your personal training and your coaching services?

Our personal training services provide real-time guidance during exercise sessions and are designed for clients looking for the most hands-on experience possible. For those seeking course-corrective feedback on improving exercise technique during live workouts, nothing compares. Unlike personal training, where exercise mechanics is the primary focus, coaching sessions are focused on deep-dive exploratory Q&A meetings that assess points of vulnerability and specific areas that need improvements. Discussions are geared toward education, goals, tactics, strategies, accountability, and all the behind-the-scenes brainstorming that fortifies lasting transformation and peak performance. By combining training and coaching, your program will be UNBEATABLE.

Why don’t you offer once-per-week personal training plans?

Our training is extremely results-focused. Our experience has shown that once-per-week sessions are not effective for most clients. The industry itself has demonstrated evidence of this as well. Sure, some people have the discipline and self-motivation to train on their own on other days throughout each week. However, the overwhelming majority of clients who opt for working with a trainer once per week simply do not succeed. There just simply is not enough guidance once per week to fulfill the purpose behind personal training. And the success of our clients is our top priority.

With your military background, should I be concerned with having Drill Sergeants for personal trainers and sessions that feel like boot camp?

We would love to provide you the services of a Drill Sergeant if that’s your preference! Jokes aside, because we have training in body language and performance psychology, we know how to tailor our sessions to match the temperament, weaknesses, and strengths of our clients. No two clients are trained the exact same way. Having said that, you can be certain you will be challenged. We wouldn’t be very effective as personal trainers otherwise. But how far you are pushed to perform will always be in your control. One thing is certain: You will always walk away feeling like you have accomplished something special. You will always feel victorious.

Are you associated with TiER1 Performance or the TiER1 Performance Institute found on tier1performance.com?

No. Our Tier 1 Performance Institute is in no way affiliated with this similarly named company or its institute, nor are we associated with TiER1 Performance Solutions or TiER1 Performance Companies. Based on what is described on its About Us page, that company caters to organizations interested in improving employee performance. Our focus is on human performance as it specifically relates to the body and mind.

TRAINING-COACHING CONSIDERATIONS

Required Digital Platforms

Video capabilities are required to conduct virtual personal training. Therefore, scheduled training sessions will be held on digital platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype. They can also be held on WhatsApp. Remote coaching/consulting sessions can be conducted through any of those platforms, or they can be held over the phone (video capabilities not required). Additional methods of contact include texting and emails.

Session Duration

Virtual personal training can last up to 55 minutes. Coaching sessions and MD consultations run for up to 30 minutes. Mini-consults (reserved for ELITE plans) are five minutes or less. Of course, you are always free to abbreviate meetings whenever you deem it necessary to do so.

Coaching/Consultation Topics

The topic of discussion is usually up to the client based on his or her unique needs and goals, provided that it falls within the scope of our expertise. Coaches may also lead the discussion toward areas that require improvement. Consultative topics include but are not limited to fitness and physique transformation, diet, supplementation, environmental health, psychological performance, and behavioral transformation. The MD consultation is held by our physician, Dr. Divingian, who discusses life-extension technologies, immune-enhancing strategies, and vitality-boosting biohacks.

Response Availability (Email, Phone, Text, WhatsApp)

We do not have a call center to immediately answer incoming queries. However, if you enroll in either the EXECUTIVE or ELITE plans, you are free to text, email, or WhatsApp-message us at any hour of the day, and we will respond within 24 business hours.

ELITE members are eligible for mini-consults. These are phone or WhatsApp video/audio-based Q&A meetings that run up to five minutes once per day, offered Monday through Friday. If we are not able to answer your call as it comes in (most likely the case), we will get back in touch with you within 24 business hours. Keep in mind that any missed calls near the end of our hours of operations by Friday (the last day of our work week), will be returned by the next business day, Monday.

Session Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

For scheduled 55-minute training sessions and 30-minute coaching/consulting meetings, 24-hour notice is required to reschedule appointments. We provide a two-week grace period beyond the 12-week package to make up missed sessions (based on the corresponding schedule). Same-day cancellations and no-shows are not usually credited for future sessions. However, emergencies and other unusual circumstances are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Keep in mind that scheduling is never required—and therefore, no cancellation policies apply—for phone-based mini-consults, emails, texts, or WhatsApp messaging, all of which are entirely optional add-on services for clients (depending on the selected package).

Live Group Webinar Event Invitations

Whenever we have an upcoming live group webinar event, you’ll be the first to know. These group meetings will be held on virtual platforms (such as Zoom or other video-based conference providers) and will cover topics related to health, fitness, regenerative medicine, performance psychology, and other areas of personal development. And even if you can’t attend some of the live events, we can send you the recorded versions.

Educational Multimedia Notifications

From time to time, we may publish blog articles, vlog posts, podcasts, and other forms of educational multimedia. For as long as you remain members, you will receive ongoing notifications of upcoming life-changing education. These notifications can be through various forms of correspondence, such as email or short message service (SMS). Of course, you are always free to continue or discontinue notifications anytime.

Family/Friend Referral Discounts

We do not provide group training. However, enrolled clients can save their family members and friends 10% off their plan if they decide to enroll as well. If the referring member decides to re-enroll for another 12-week package, he or she will receive 10% off the new plan. If the referred client enrolls at the same time as the referring client, both members will receive the 10% discount at the same time.
